I'm an AI systems architect and CTO with 26 years across the Intelligence Community, the U.S. Army, cybersecurity, and private-sector AI — currently leading R&D at Clarity Innovations and building Talon Black, an autonomous risk intelligence platform. The constant has been the same: find the problem no one knows how to frame and build what solves it. I don't follow domains. I follow the edge.
I've kept my hands on the keyboard by design. I can operate at any scale, from a team of one to organizations of thousands, but I do my best work building — staying ahead by doing. Right now that means autonomous multi-agent swarms, on-prem large language model inference rivaling frontier models, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, knowledge graphs that pull signal from noise, and edge inference engines that run where the data lives.
Off the clock — married over twenty years, raising two sons headed toward military commissions, two dogs running the house, and a lifelong metalhead.
